Boardwalk Standard Room Request

Yup I know BWV is one of the worst to give you a request but at the same time always a chance.

That being said without airport luggage coming in and out of the resort does your room request change at all? I know there are certain rooms in the past hit with noise from that which shouldn't be a huge issue now.

Thoughts? Figure I would throw something in just for the heck of it.

Room: 1BR Standard View

If you don't have a problem with stairs, I like dedicated, upper floor across from the bus stop. Those rooms are very convenient to the bus stop and parking lot, and to the walkway to the studios. These rooms have a nice view of the skyliner in the distance, and some have a view of the higher level fireworks from EPCOT (when those are offered).

I usually just request high floor. My least favorite are the ones closest to the elevator because of that luggage noise on those racks. (Is this not happening anymore? That’s a plus)

We requested and were placed near the tennis courts once. It was a pretty as well as peaceful view of a park like setting and would have been great for walking to DHS. From the balcony there was a view of the Skyliner turn as well. But boy was it a long walk to the elevators, or anywhere else for that matter. In January we looked out on the porte cochere and could walk straight down the hall either toward the leisure pool for stairs down to DHS walkway or the other direction toward stairs to the bus stop/parking lot.

Those are Studios I believe so wouldn't be staying there. I think I know why you like it though.

Thanks for that. We have a 1BR coming up and asked for a dedicated, high floor. We’ll see.

Those are dedicated corner 1 bedrooms located above the doorway near the pond. They are quite a bit bigger than other 1 bedrooms, have a huge wrap around balcony and are a popular request. There are only 3 of them.

Ya I was only looking at the 1st floor where the studio is. I am locking in that as the request for Touringplans. Its doubtful I will get it but ask for the moon and be happy with whatever we get.

I actually have excellent results with requests at BWV (don't ask me about VWL though). Not with the x123 room though. We were placed close to it but not in one. Anyway, I always think it's worth a request at BWV.

I got it once without asking. The next time I requested it and ended up down by Jellyrolls.

I’ve been fairly lucky. I requested x029 or x031 (boardwalk view studios) and got 4029 last year and 4031 this year. Closest to elevator upper floor boardwalk view studios.
