We Are Going To Boardwalk Next Week One Bedroom Pr View Any One Know A Roon I Need To Ask For. Someone Said Yellow Key High Floor Thanks For Your Help Buddybear

You can only request a location. You have a 50/50 chance to get what you request when you make your reservation. When you arrive your room is set, if you don't like the pick you can ask if they can do better. I have had little luck with that. I have stayed at boardwalk a lot and book boardwalk view. I like the top floor in what ever section i get. Never got a yellow key, always blue like any other resort or floor. Top floor better for less noise, lots of noise at boardwalk with the clubs.

We were in 3025... talk about the longest mile! Plus the hallways were at a constant 32 degrees. Woke ya up in the morning!

We also had 4044. Not too far from the elevators. It had a nice lobby outside the door and it overlooked the pool. The pool was a bit noisy -- nice weather for swimming.

We were in 2001 BW view. Awsome location. Although it was the farthest from the elevator, the stairway to go out the back to the path by the waterway was right outside our door!! :thumbsup2

Twice we have been exactly two floors higher in 4001. Best view of Illuminations in the resort!!

That's the one we had in August. Loved it! :thumbsup2

There is no conceirge available at DVC resorts (at regular resorts, it wouldn't be a request - you can't request a yellow key - you pay for it - unless you got lucky and they magically upgraded you).

Preferred views (unless they are guarenteed BW View - if you have one of these, your confirmation will say so) will probably face one of the two pools - Luna Park or the Community Hall.

Location is very personal. A lot of people ask for high floor. We asked for high floor last trip and got put on the ground floor - turned out to be great since the kids were steps from the pool. A lot of people like the quieter community hall area, but if you have swimming kids - you might want Luna Park. A lot of people like close to the elevators - the halls at BWV can be pretty long - but a lot of people like the ends of the halls where it is quieter - and they don't go through the lobby but use the stairs.
