I always seem to forget about the Boardwalk while at Disney - however this time I'd like to explore. Are you able to stop into the different restaurants to try some appetizers at each (granted no crowds) - or are they all sit down without a bar? I guess if not we will just go to Beaches and Cream for an old fashioned treat. :goodvibes

You should be able to have drink and appetizers at Kouzzina by Kat Kora and maybe at the Flying Fish. We stayed at the Boardwalk in June and fell in love with it.....

Kouzzina does not have a bar. You'd have to be seated to order appetizers/drinks.

Flying Fish has a bar where you can order from the full menu.

I believe ESPN has a bar and there's also the Big River Grill where you can stop at the bar for some beer and appetizers.

Don't forget the Swan/Dolphin restaurants (Bluezoo, Il Mulino, Kimonos).

Try and get a reservation at Kouzinna. The greek lasagne is awesome. When we there in March they were taking walkups as well. I also hear there breakfast is good.

If you are looking for drinks and appitizers you should consider the Crews Cup Lounge at the YC! The atmosphere is very relaxing and the food is from the Yachtsman Steakhouse, YUM!!

In December 2010 when I was staying at the Boardwalk Inn I went three times to the ESPN Club to watch some Hockey games. Well the third game I saw was on a Saturday night and there was a little bit of a line for a table, since they don't accept ADR's. However when I asked if there was any seats at the bar they said yes and I went to sit right there.

Thanks everyone! Crews Cup is a good suggestion since I love to check out the other hotels. It sounds like some of them do have a place to grab a drink and food so sounds good to me!:thumbsup2

Boardwalk:
1. ESPN - vast bar area, sport-bar type food
2. Kouzzina - no bar, extensive Mediterranean menu
3. Flying Fish - small bar area, great apps
4. Belle Vue Lounge - comfortable bar inside the Boardwalk resort, no food in the evenings
5. Big River Grille - easier to get a seat at a table than at the bar as bar gets very crowded first. Good beer menu, food can be hit & miss

Yacht Club
1. Crew's Cup Lounge - great apps, menu has only a portion of Yachtsman's Steakhouse

Swan & Dolphin
Options include: Shula's, Todd English's Bluezoo, or Il Mulino. All have bar areas.

What are Florida state laws regarding minors in bar areas of restraunts, are they allowed to sit at a bar when eatting or only allowed in the restraunt section? Thanks

All the restaurants I have been at WDW in allow them to sit at the bar. I do not know what Florida law is.
