Hello,
Can Anyone Give Me Any Info On The Restaurants At The Boardwalk Resort. Not Just Whats There, But, Whats Good And Whats Not.
Thanks

Spoodles - Our favorite. Excellent Mediterranean-style cuisine. A casual, and sometimes frenetic party-like atmosphere. Great service most of the time.

Flying Fish - The most expensive. Seafood extraordinaire. Trendy atmosphere. Great cocktails. Service is often very good. The back room is rather loud.

Big River Grill - Better than I expected. Great for hamburgers, french fries and beer. Okay service. Wouldn't make a special trip.

ESPN Club - Not impressed with menu, so I've never been.

We had a surprisingly good meal at the ESPN Club this past June. My husband had been asking to go and with a family of girls (myself, DD17,DD13)we went to make him happy and ended up having a great time and great food.:thumbsup2

Flying Fish is definitely the fanciest, but it's well worth the price. It has the best seafood on property in both quality and selection.
I'll second the previous post in being pleasantly surprised with ESPN club. It 's a lot of fun and the food was actually quite good.

I loved the flying fish @ the boardwalk, i would definatly recomend it! The crab cake appertizer was amazing  and every 1 loved the red snapper! Its worth the price :)

Spoodles is always on list as well. the rigitoni bolognese is outstanding and the snapper was delicious. We tried the pita dips and flatbreads for an appetizer. They were very tasty. There was hummus, tzatziki, and feta cheese dip served with pita pieces for a starter. The four cheese flatbread was great as well. Their specialty is the sangria-try it if you enjoy wine. The dessert sampler is just right for two or three. The dining room is large and often a little loud, but the service is always good.

Big River Brewing we tried for lunch as a break from the fast food at Epcot. It was busy because there were convention people crawling all over the place. None the less the food and service was good. Although we had to sit on these high tables and my mom and I are both only 5' tall, up and down was tough, but there is another dining section with regular tables. I think we were placed over there due to the crowd. There is also outdoor seating, but it was like 90F the day we went lol.

The Flying Fish is really good, but my mom is not a fish eater, so we do not dine here often. Great crab cakes and my snapper with crisp potato scales was awesome. Desserts are wonderful here too.

ESPN Club is good if you want a quick casual bite and catch a game. The food is like most chain restaurants, which is nice once and a while at Disney.

I hope you enjoy your choices.

:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 We love the Boardwalk bakery for breakfast. Great Sticky buns and choclate twist pastries!

:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 We love Spoodles great food and family setting. Can be on the loud side but food is wonderful.

I also recommend right across for the BW, the :thumbsup2 Yachtclub Galley food is great. They have wonderful lager steamed mussels.

I do not recommend :scared: Spoodles pizza window counter service, YUCK!

The best thing about the Boardwalk is the location, you are only a short walk from visiting the world showcase which has some of WDW best food.
