Boardwalk - Refillable Mugs??

I am thinking of staying at the Boardwalk Inn this fall, but it looks like they don't have a food court or stations for refillable mugs?

Do you really have to stand in line at the Boardwalk Bakery just to get a drink? That must get really old really fast if you're just hanging out by the pool or whatever...

How do you refill your mug at BWI?

You can get your mug filled at the pool as well.

You can also get refills at the Boardwalk Pizza Widnow, Boardwalk Joes, Seashore Sweets and Belle Vue Lounge. So you have more options then just going to the Boardwalk Bakery.

Thanks for the tip! We'll definitely be getting and using the mugs for sure! We were concerned about the morning rush as well.

There are no self serve refills for the mugs. You take your mug to one of the locations and they give you the drink in a cup. This is due to health dept regulations, they can't take a used mug behind the counter.

Also, if you don't have your mug as you are coming back from Epcot, make sure you keep your receipt for when you bought it! Since they give you a cup, and don't fill your mug, I always just had my receipt, showed them that, got our drinks, and then went back to the room. Worked out great! We never had to worry about carrying our mugs around with us when we were going to/from a park or walking around the boardwalk! They did this at Boardwalk Bakery, not sure about the other places.

That doesn't always work. Others have reported being told they needed the mug.
