We are thrilled to have our first DVC trip changed to BWV in November. We got a preferred view room. Where are they? Can anyone tell me if there is a good place to request to be in BWV?

NOT the main pool.... I got so sick of that silly clown... :lmao:

the quiet pool and lagoon view to the Studios is fine... (also across from the Swan)

On the other hand, if you have kids who swim, being on the ground floor near the pool is really convienent - and being a flight of stairs away may be better than being at the end of hall.

Some people really like being close to the elevators. Some people really like high floors. The quiet pool is liked by a lot of people who don't like the lunacy of Luna Park. Some people swear by the Village Green rooms, they are "sort of" Boardwalk View - but there are very few of them.

I thought I was going to hate our first floor room with a view of the main pool. Boy, was I wrong! It turned out to be the best room we have had yet! I would take that room again in a heartbeat.

we had a 1 bedoorm ground floor at the quiet pool and liked it alot. Every morning we had a few ducks at the patio doors to wish us a good morning! :sunny:

We had a preferred view that overlooked the croquet lawn and the canal and the Swan, with the Tower of Terror in the distance, as well as Expedition Everest way in the distance.

It was quite lovely.

We had a similar room - but across the hall (Standard View). And had the same experience. We wanted a high floor for the view, and didn't care about the elevator deal. And I'll take ground floor as long as the kids are going to spend time in the pool. The easy pool access is worth more than the view when I appear to be raising stream trout instead of children.

If you have preferred Garden/pool view make sure you request a room with a balcony that you can see through I found out the hard way and was put in a room with a closed balcony I had to peek over the top - did not like that.

Boardwalk View is very nice too but a different category.

I liked the view I had another time of the main pool and swan/dolphin in the background
