We were thinking of walking over one evening from Epcot to look the resort over. What is there to do on the Boardwalk? Also, if we came over after the fireworks, would that be too late?

You could shop or go for a ride on the multiseated bikes or go to the dance hall, or eat. There is an icecream shop and there was a juggler there in the summer. There isn't that much to do .

Boardwalk activities include....

ESPN....eat and watch sports, arcade
Bakery....eat
Spoodles....eat
Sea Shore Sweets...candy, ice cream
Flying Fish ....eat
Surrey Bike rentals...ride off all the food
Wyland Gallery....fancy stuff collectables
Screen Door General store
Boardwalk Character Carnavail
Thimbles and Threads.....Shopping
Big River Brewing Company...eats, drinks
Jellyrolls...dueling piano bar
Atlantic Dance...Dance Hall

Pin carts, Food carts, Midway games, face painting,

The Juggler, piano guy, three card monty game, magician...all of these guys come out pretty much every night ...not sure if there is a printed schedule or not...they are fun to watch though...

Or even just walk around on a nice evening...

IMHO...there is a lot to do...

The 'buskers' (juggler, piano guy, three card monty game, magician) aren't on the Boardwalk every night. I think they are off Tuesday nights (along with probably Mon or Wed), I'd call ahead if you want to make sure they are there.

What Zurgswife said.

Enjoy your trip over.

My family thinks the boardwalk area is great! We love watching the different entertainers. It is all lit up at night - just beautiful. One time there was an entertainer who put on a lasso show and she picked my kids to come up and try it. Great memories and pictures. Can't wait to stay at the BWV again. Sue

I love the BW - all lit up at night, with the entertainers...it's a lovely atmosphere and well worth a visit :)

As regards to going after the fireworks...totally no problem...except if you drove to Epcot. Remember, your car will be parked at the front of the park, so if you go to BW, you'd have no way to get back to it after park closing. If you are on the Disney transport system, then it would mean you'd have to get a bus to DTD and then change to get back to your resort (assuming you are staying onsite) so it's not neccessarily the easiest thing to do.

True, but cabs are plentiful. A cab back to your on site resort will be fast and convenient. Plan to pay between $10-$15, including tip.

You may also choose to move your car to the Boardwalk lot. Self parking is free (for all) and valet parking costs $6 plus tip.
