Boardwalk Pool

Leaving for a stay at BWV on Thursday, for anyone that is there or was recently there, how crowded have the pools been ? I recently read an article that at BC guests had to "wait in line" to go to the pool. Has anyone experienced anything like this ? We expect to take afternoon breaks at the pool each day and are hoping there won't be a line and chairs will be available.

I was at the Boardwalk during Spring Break week. No one in my party ever had an issue getting into the pool, even mid afternoon.

The Beach Club's Stormalong Bay got crowded even before COVID. It's the main reason my spouse and I don't particularly like staying at the Beach Club. We don't like not finding a chair.

The Boardwalk pool is different. There's more deck space. Also, the Boardwalk Inn is not yet open, meaning there are fewer than normal trying to get a seat.

The Boardwalk's main pool was mostly empty during our last stay in December, but the temperature was only in the mid-70s.

No issue during a stay just two weeks ago. Chairs were plentiful. Once the hotel fully reopens on 7/2 it may be a different story, but your visit shouldn’t be affected.
