We are going to WDW next June but having to stay off property. We are DVC members and would like to go to Boardwalk to walk around and eat. Can we park at BWV parking area, even if we are not staying at a Disney hotel? If so, can we use the valet parking and stay for the day? Thanks.

Here is the policy:

Valet Parking at the Walt Disney World® Resort
Disney Vacation Club Members are not charged for valet parking at Disney's Beach Club Resort, Disney's BoardWalk Resort or Disney's Wilderness Lodge, regardless of where you're staying. You must present your Disney Vacation Club Member card or Walt Disney World Resort ID with your "DVC Member" designation on it when leaving your vehicle to be parked.

Members will be charged the daily fee of $6.00 for this service at any other valet parking operation at the Walt Disney World Resort. Once you've paid for the valet service, you'll receive unlimited valet parking for the remainder of the day. Whether or not you are charged to valet park, gratuities are still appropriate. There will be no charge for guests with disabilities who have the proper permits.

Make sure you have your Blue Member Card!

The short answer is YES.

However, if you are planning to go to EPCOT, please do NOT use the self-parking lot. I can't tell you how frustrating it is to be a guest staying at the BWV or BWI and not be able to find a spot to self-park when you return in the late afternoon or early evening. As soon as Illumihations is over, the lot empties.

Others have posted the policy for valet parking for DVC members. Please use the valet service if you are going to EPCOT in addition to touring the Boardwalk. With the exception of New Year's Eve, I don't think the valet lot ever fills up.

Guests staying at the BWV and BWI will appreciate your thoughtfulness!

Totally agreed - use the valet - tip them a couple of bucks and enjoy the Boardwalk and Epcot etc.

Do not use the self parking lots - the policy is not designed to allow self parking

thanks
