Is there a parking area for people visiting the Boardwalk for shopping, dining, etc. that is separate from the people staying at the resort?
Here is our delima. One day during our December vacation we are planning to get up and go do some off-site outlet shopping during the morning. We are then going directly to MGM for the late afternoon and for Fantasmic that evening, so we will be in our car. After Fantasmic, we are going over to the Boardwalk for dinner at Spoodles and some shopping. We want to just walk over to the Boardwalk from MGM to avoid the post-Fantasmic crush in the parking lot.
So, what do we do with the car? If we leave it at MGM, how do we get back to get it after we are done at the Boardwalk - which will probably be quite late?
Is it possible to park at the Boardwalk and then head over to MGM and then come back to the Boardwalk for dinner, shopping, entertainment, etc?
Please don't attack me. I'm not trying to break any parking rules here. I know that you normally can't park at a resort at which you are not staying and then hop off to a theme park, but I was wondering if parking at the Boardwalk might be a different case, because it is really a public shopping, dining, and entertainment area.
Any advice?
