Boardwalk or Bay lake tower with little kids

You will enjoy BLT. The DVC Activities center is also good at BLT. Bus service is good, and the parking is so much easier than at BWV. A lot of people don't like the smallish pool, but its fine and the kids just want to have fun. Every resort has it's +/-'s, but focus on the magic and memories, and you'll have a great time.

Another plus for BLT is that you can watch the MK fireworks from the property, so even on your non-park days, you can enjoy those.

I also love watching the monorail glide through the building while eating at Contempo Cafe.

Another vote for BLT but then again I’m biased as it’s our home resort (We love it there). The combination of proximity to the Magic Kingdom (you can’t get any more Disney than that), view the fireworks from the hotel, view of the water parade, and don't forget the monorail which many little one treat as a ride onto itself.

I know not on your list but kids love Animal Kingdom as well (so do we).

Love all the replies! Thank you.
Another thing that makes it even better is the reopening of TOTWL. I wasn’t a dvc member 12 years ago when I stayed at BLT previously pre-little kids.
What is it like? It is kid friendly? Since we only have a standard view it would be nice to see the fireworks up there.

Hard to say. It is being reimagined.

As the previous poster replied I’m not sure what the re-imagined version of the TOTWL is going to be like but pre-pandemic there were always a lot of kids watching the fireworks from the terrace outside the lounge if my memory serves.

In regards to your standard view room be sure to request an even numbered room in the north tower prior to checkin. Although there are only a few, we scored one on our last visit on the first floor which allowed viewing the fireworks from our room/patio. It was great and will try to get that every return trip to BLT. Very short walk to the pool and maybe the shortest possible walk to the Magic Kingdom (hotel parking) too. Point savings is an added bonus.
