So how is the Boardwalk on a Saturday night? I'm thinking about what to do on our first night without going to a park. Would it be fun for small children? I've never done this . . .

Thanks!

There are some nice restaurants, a couple of take-out windows(pizza is one), a nice bakery, a sweet shop, a bunch of games of chance, there's usually some live entertainment(a juggler or something like that). I enjoy the BW as a nightspot. To me, it's less "in your face" than Pleasure Island, but there's still plenty to see and do. The pace is more relaxed than PI. I think your kids should find enough to keep them occupied and enjoying themselves. They have little tables scattered around near the food places, so if you stop and get a snack or a treat, you have a place to sit, and you're looking out over the water...very nice.

A little FYI...over in the Beach Club is a cute little restaurant called Beaches and Cream, which is a great spot for a casual dinner, or a nice ice cream later.

Thanks Disney Doll,

I think this is what we'll probably do, didn't want to use a day off our park hoppers for a few hours at a park.

Take care!
