In terms of the text notifications, We have always received them when staying at Kidani. We will be at BWV in July, and i hope they have this resolved.

So sorry for your trouble, starbox, I hope they let you bank the points. The manager being nasty is completely unacceptable. After getting a room at 10:30Pm for one night on your anniversary!

Okay - ya'll will get a kick out of this.

I checked my DVC balances today to see if they refunded the points, and they did. BUT - in the 2010 use year. Which is about to expire. And is way past the banking window. Maybe I could go NEXT WEEK.

At this point, my sad story is just getting silly. You've got to laugh. Right?

Truly, I think they will put them in the 2011 year if you ask. I'm sorry that they didn't put them in a use year that will help you right away.

I will call and ask. If not, we'll just give a short January stay to a young couple from church or something. It would make me just as happy to be able to bless someone else. I just thought it was funny - it was like everything that could have possibly gone wrong with that reservation did and it's much funnier now that I'm not freezing.

I don't think I will try to stay at an EPCOT resort for Christmas again. We did DTD area resorts (both at SSR and offsite) for several years and I always thought I'd rather be at the back gate since Epcot is my favorite holiday park, but we are pretty commando over the holidays and I think it actually complicated things to be trying to go back and forth.

One nice thing is we had no dining reservations other than the CP package and we were able to walk up and get seated every place we tried I think they must be holding back more tables for walk-ups and non-DDP.
