Boardwalk, missed my window, Waitlist?

Hey DVC fam! I missed my 7 month window to snag a single day at Boardwalk in March. I wanted the Standard View-Deluxe Studio. What is the likelihood of me getting this room for 1 night during spring break? I can book a Garden/Pool but don’t want to spend the extra 4 points. I also don’t want to book and then switch because I need to bank all the rest of what I don’t use for a big trip the next year. Do you think this will ever come available? I need sleeps 5

You can put in a waitlist, but it's unlikely to come through. I would either just take the pool/garden view or check OKW for a studio.

If you do book okw, waitlist the std bwv room bc you never know

I would buy 4 OTU points and book the garden view and waitlist the std - mark it as replacing the garden…then, if it comes thru, you can bank the extra 4 points

I think you could get it. It's just 1 night. I do waitlists all the time for 1 night. Got standard view BWV studio for Aug 29 about 9 days ago. Switched it to a BLT studio for the 31st and then switched that to a BWV 1BR BW view today (for 31st). I stalk and use WL and am very successful with the 1 nighters. I live local so we do 1 nighters once or twice a month.
