Boardwalk Inn - Where to eat breakfast?

So this our 3rd trip together to WDW, but it will be the first time we stay at BWI (We'll be staying there 3 nights out of nine)

What's the best bet for breakfast? I've heard Spoodles has a breakfast buffet, what's the food/cost like? I've also heard that Boardwalk Bakery has some goodies for breakfast? Any additional info on that? What else can you guys tell me?

Spoodles is good. They no longer have a buffet. They do have an all you can eat platter. The bakery has breakfast sandwiches, pastries, donuts. Check menu's here:

BWI Breakfast -

Hi Cassi,

We have stayed at the BWI 3 times and on two of those times the Bellevue Lounge (lobby level) offered a well stocked continental breakfast with goodies from the Boardwalk Bakery. The Bakery itself has a wonderful variety of goodies, including a couple of hot breakfast sandwiches. Refillable mugs available here. Spoodles has a nice morning menu, but no buffet. Fresh over at the Dolphin has been getting wonderful reviews, and it is just a short walk away

We think the BWI is a great place to stay!! Location, location, location, but you probably know that. Enjoy!!

Stayed there for 3 nights last October. Lovely.
You can purchase continental breakfast type items in the BellVue (is that name right?) Lounge in the hotel itself.
Boardwalk bakery for pastries and docnuts. Coffee, too.
Cape May Cafe in the Yacht Club (a short walk away) has a character breakfast. Very Cute. Minnie and friends in bathing costumes.
Don't know about Spoodles buffet.

Cape May breakfast -

Seems three of us all posted at once. Thanks twocat - forgot about Cape May. Had breakfast there last year and liked it very much, Characters, atmosphere, and food all good. Had a fantastic served by the name of Dorothy - ask for her.

Okay, this is gonna sound like a stupid question, but what places at BW can you use the refillable mugs? We bought one at the Bakery but never reused it. Can you use it at the pool? Guess I should have paid more attention at the time but having the coffee maker in our room spoiled us but it would have been nice to have soda by the pool.
