I will be visiting WDW for the first time at the beginning of Feb and I have a few questions about park transportation:

1. At this time of year, how long is the ride on the bus to MK? Does anyone know if the route is shared with the other Epcot resorts? Where does BWI fall in the order of pick up? I am specifically asking about first thing in the morning for RD on a weekday (Wed, Thrus, Fri).

2. At the end of the night at MK, how long could I expect to wait to board a bus, and how long should it take to get back? Is there a best spot to catch the bus or would I be better off taking a cab? Is the wait/ride longer on a Sat night than a weeknight?

3. How long does the bus to DTD take on an Sun. morning? If I need to be back at BWI by 6pm to leave for my flight, what time should I leave DTD? Do the DTD busses drop off at just the resorts? Are they shared? Do the DTD busses go to the resorts as well?

Sorry so long and detailed. I'm just trying to figure out some logistics. Thanks :)

The BW buses always share with the Swan and the Dolphin. There are times when the Yacht Club and the Beach Club can also be included in that route. I have been first on the bus at BW, as well as last. But usually, it's the first stop. If you want to be at RP, at MK, I would be at the bus stop an hour prior to park opening. The actual ride to MK, from BW, is about 15-20 mins, but if it has to make 4 addtl stops, it will be closer to 35 mins. on the bus.

There is only one place to get the bus..at the main bus stops which are all very well marked. If it's right at park closing, you can expect to wait for a bus. You could get lucky and get on a bus right away, or you could find yourself waiting through several bus arrivals...all depends on how many people are heading to the same resort. If you want to get a cab, you are better off walking over to the CR and getting one there.

Once on the bus, probably about 15-20 mins. The DTD buses go to just the resorts..no buses between DTD and the parks. The DTD buses, for BW, can also make stops at the S/D as well as YC/BC. If you are taking DME back to the airport, then you will need to be back at the resort about 4 hrs prior to your departure time. If your pickup time, by DME, is at 6pm, then you need to leave DTD no later than 4:15ish...better safethan sorry.

My thoughts are within the body of your post, in red. I hope it helps. Any other questions, just ask.
