We would love to stay at the Boardwalk this April/May.

We are not Disney Vacation members.

Which one do we stay in? We would like a regular room, there's just two of us.

Do we request the BWI or BWV?

Thanks,

The Inn is on the side closest to Epcot, it has its own quiet pool but the walk over to the theme pool is not bad. You don't have to go thru the lobby you can walk outside thru a courtyard. The Inn rooms are fairly spacious especially for just 2. You will get 2 Queen beds and a day bed, a table with 2 chairs and usually 2 chairs on your balcony. BWI is a lovely resort, I have stayed there twice and can highly recommend it.

Actually....

You might be better off if you can find a someone to rent you DVC points and stay in a studio at the villas...you will have a kitchenette which is good for breakfast and late night snacks. Plus...I think it will be cheaper than the inn. Check out the DVC rental boards on this site...A studio cost between 111 and 123 points for a week depending on which month and either standard or preferred view. Points usually can be rented for $10 per point. Therfore the highest average nightly cost is $175 per night (tax included)...I'm pretty sure that the inn is around $300 a night. The only disadvantage to the villas is that you can't get the dining plan added.

You can actually ask for the rates for either. The BWI is the regular resort portion and the BWV's are the DVC portion but CRO can book either. I'd ask for the rate for both a room at BWI and a studio at BWV's and see which is better;) You may end up with one or the other being less expensive even through CRO and both would be great for what you're looking for. If you're interested in a 1bdrm or larger (or even just more interested in a studio rather than a regular room) the renting points route can often be a much better deal, but it never hurts to find out what CRO has available and for how much...they do occassionally have decent discount rates for the DVC resorts as well as the regular resorts so I'd ask and find out and take it from there:)
