Boardwalk Inn or Villa petitie suite

Can anyone give me advice in whether to stay at the BWI standard room or the Villa's petitie suite. Which rooms have been redone more recent, and overall which is more comfortable. We don't really need all the "amentities" of the suite and the room is actually bigger at the Inn? any help will be Greatly appreciated. Thanks, Dane

Villa's petite suite? Not sure what that is. There are studios, 1 bedrooms, 2 bedrooms, grand villas (3 bedrooms). If you mean a studio, there is a queen bed and a sleeper sofa, kitchenette with microwave, small fridge, toaster. A 1 bedroom has a king in the master and a sleeper sofa in the living room, plus a full kitchen and large bathroom including a jacuzzi. See here for info:

The Inn's standard room has 2 queen beds and a small daybed. They are supposed to be putting the small fridge's in the rooms.

No Petite Suite at the Villas, maybe you mean a studio?

The studio will give you a queen bed and double sleeper sofa, a minifridge, microwave, coffee maker and toaster. The BWI room will offer two queens and no "kitchen".

Otherwise they are about the same. I've stayed in both, and sizewise I do'nt think they are at all different.

Thanks for the information - yes, I meant studio. We had heard that the Villa's was a little more "aged," then the Inn. I am sure they are both great. We just wanted to know if one had advantages over the other.

If you want to stay at the Villas, you might want to check on the Rent/Trade board. It is usually much cheaper to rent points from a DVC member that to pay cash for your reservation. You will not owe tax on the room either! One thing about the villas...you will not get daily maid service unless you want to pay extra. We are DVC members and actually don't mind this aspect at all, since we don't have to worry about housekeeping knocking on the door.

If you are paying CASH for a reservation (not renting points) you WILL get DAILY housekeeping!
