Don't hear much on these boards about the Boardwalk Inn....Was looking for options on you stays there...where to get food and coffee drinks during the day, since they have no counter service...also, looking for some good room locations for requests, if we decide to stay!!!!Currently, have a balony room booked at the Dolphin for $10.00 more a night than I can get the Boardwalk!!!

I love the Dolphin, but if the Boardwalk is $10 LESS a night, I would stay there. The Dolphin balconies aren't very big anyway.

While the Boardwalk does not have any restaurants inside, there are plenty of choices within a short walking distance.
Spoodles is a few doors away from the BWI and has a great breakfast. I have also read very good reviews about their dinner food. You have the Boardwalk Bakery next to the BWI. I won't go into all the restaurants in the area as there are many. Get on allearsnet.com and check out their dining section. Check out the Boardwalk, Beach Club, Yacht Club. Swan and Dolphin. You will be amazed at how many options there are in the Boardwalk area.

I just got back yesterday from the best trip ever. We stayed at BWI, room 4255, deluxe concierge. Holy Moses, I wanted to live there. I love the BWI, so many places to grab food, see things, never boring :D

Boardwalk Inn is my faaavorite and the Brewery is the best place to eat and drink.

Theres a few other threads on this board with pictures and stuff, I guess you're just gonna have to hunt them down :p

LOVE the BWI. We had a standard room on the 5th floor facing Epcot and we could see the fireworks from our room. There's a little store called the Screendoor something-or-other around the corner where we bought Coronas for 2 bucks and drank them on the veranda overlooking the boardwalk. Personally, I can't think of a better place to stay.

Hi tylerbug.

I Believe you can get coffee, fruit, juice and Boardwalk Bakery stuff in the Bellevue Lounge (lobby level) in the morning. Have stayed at the BWI three times and think its a great place to be. We like to relax at the resort and this is a magical place to do so - the whole area is so inviting. Have a wonderful trip!!

We love staying at the Boardwalk. I would go for it over the Dolphin, if I were you. The decor is so beautiful and the atmosphere just great. One thing we enjoy is relaxing in the rocking chairs on the big balcony off the lobby. You have a wonderful view across the green to the lake.

The restaurants on the Boardwalk are some of our favorites. Spoodle's has wonderful breakfast and dinner. Flying Fish is very good also. For a quick meal, we like the hot dog cart on the Boardwalk or the pizza window at Spoodle's. We enjoy walking over to Yachtsman Steakhouse and Beaches and Cream. Someone mentioned the bakery, be sure to try it! You can get coffee there and breakfast sandwiches.

Boardwalk is our absolute favorite resort! Love the atmosphere, love the rooms, love the boardwalk. Love it, love it, love it!:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Love the Boardwalk! It's in such a great location and having all the restaurants and avtivities right outside your door is really great. The amazing thing about the Boardwalk is if you're in the back of the resort by the pools it's so quiet even though the Boardwalks right on the other side.

I loved the short walk to Epcot and strolling on the Boardwalk at night. The Bakery is the best for breakfast items, soo good, plus you have all the other places to eat.

We enjoyed our stay at the Dolphin but given the chance I'd stay at the Boardwalk over it anytime.

I just LOVE the Boardwalk Inn. We stayed there when it first opened and many times after that and I just think it is a wonderful resort. We are now DVC memebers with our home at BCV and I love it there as well but there is something that is just so cozy and classy about the BWI. A+++++++ choice:):bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

No comparison - pick Boardwalk.

I've only stayed there once. It was at christmas time. I absolutely loved it! My fav park is Epcot, and you can walk to it from the resort. Transpo to the rest of the parkes and resorts was extremely convienent as well. There is plenty of all ages entertainment right there!

Plus, even though we're divorced now, My ex-husband proposed to me there! Its one of my happiest memories!

It wasn't our first, second, or third choice, but it was terrific. If you have a chance , give it a shot:earsboy:

BWI is fantastic! You will just love it!

I really don't get the comments about there not being a restaurant inside the hotel. When we stayed at the GF a few years ago, we had to leave our building (Big Pine Key) to get to the restaurants and several WDW resorts are set up that way, but yet I never hear those comments about the other resorts.

I absolutely love the BoardWalk! It's now my second favorite resort after Polynesian. It's got a great theme (carnivale yet elegant) and we love sitting on the Boardwalk and trying to spot IllumiNations at night. We had room 2335 and we loved the location! It overlooked a courtyard and was very easy to access the lobby as we got to walk past the beautiful Garden Suites every day. You'll also love Luna Park. It has a great theme (again) and the top of the pool has a great view of the Hollywood Tower Hotel. Enjoy your trip!
