Staying at BWI for the first time. A couple of questions regarding rope drop timing for the 2 nearby parks.

1. If we are walking from BWI to EP what time do we need to leave our room and be at the back entrance if we want to rope drop Test Track?

2. Similar question with HS. Do we walk or take the boat to rope drop Slinky Dog? What's our timing need to be as far as leaving the resort?

For Epcot, depending on where your room is, and the time of year and crowds, I'd say to get to the IG for rope drop, leave 20 minutes prior to rope drop, and you'll probably have time to spare. The Ig is more chill than the front gates - less ppl, usually.

For the Boat to Hollyweird: Unless you see a boat pulling into the dock on it's way to Hollywood, walking will probably be faster. The boat will also stop at Swolphin before it heads to Hollywood.

The walk at a leisurely pace is about 20 minutes. If you want to Rope Drop slinky and be at the front of the pack, adjust your leave time.

If you could FP Test Track and RD Soarin/FEA that would be better. IG actually puts you at a disadvantage for Test Track and the lines can build very quickly. It is more likely to be down at opening, as well.

The IG entry is more low-key though so I would go for around 8:30/8:40. If you do have to rope drop Test Track, I would do the single rider line if the regular line is looking crazy.

I agree. If you're wanting to get to Frozen Ever After? Yeah. You've got an advantage at IG. It's quite a walk to Test Track.
