Which is the closest and best priced grocery store near the Boardwalk villas?

The closest would be Goodings at the crossings - just outside the east entrance to the world.

The best (or much better anyways) for us would be the Publix, just behind the Premium Outlet Mall. Pretend you're going to Goodings, but instead of going straight at the light to enter The Crossings, turn right onto S. Apopka Vineland Road and go under the freeway. Turn left at the first light (there's a Bahama Breeze restaurant on the left side at the light you need to turn at) = this is Vineland Avenue. Follow the street as it curves around and when you reach the outlet mall, head for the back corner of the parking lot - opposite of where you approached it (guess this would be the SW corner). If you are in the parking lot you will see the Publix to the SW of the parking lot. Hope these make sense.

You could also go to the Winn-Dixie, about a mile from Goodings in the other direction. Turn left at the light across from Crossroads, it's on the right about a mile down the road, right after the ABC Liquor Store. Get one of their shopper cards for discounts on selected items. We like shopping there and their prices are much more reasonable than Goodings. For example, they had a 12 pack of Dasani for $3.99 vs $6.00+ at Goodings.

We went to the Wal-Mart SuperCenter, which I think was on 192? I don't know how the prices compare to the Goodings or Publix mentioned above, but I found the prices just a little bit higher than home, which was expected. I'm sure if you went to the Wal-Mart web site, you could find directions using their store locater.

Just was down there. Goodings is the closest but is also very expensive. Winn -Dixie which is about a mile away had a good selection and is pretty reasonible. But the Super Wal-Mart seemed to be the best to go to not only does it have everything you could possibly need the prices are good. When you get out of Disney with Goodings in front of you take a right then turn left onto 535 about a mile and a half turn left onto 192 and its right there next to Medival times Restuarant. If you turn right onto 192 about a mile down is a Sam's club if you are member they are pretty cheap.
