Boardwalk Garden Suite on Points?

Is it possible to use DVC points to stay in a Garden Suite at the Boardwalk? I remember one of the DIS brides did this, but I can't tell by looking at the points charts how many it would require.

Sorry if this has been covered before - I couldn't turn up any results using the search function...

No you cannot. You cannot use points for the villas' sister resort the Boardwalk Inn, same "sister" resort rule applies at VWL and BCV.

we generally have until the DVC part of the resort is open - before DVC changes it.

you can get her a BWV GV which is a lot better!!!! (that is if you have the points)

what the other person probably did was rent her DVC points, then use the money to rent from CRO the Garden Suite at the Boardwalk. Which is definitely allowed.
