I've read about jugglers, dancers, etc.. at the boardwalk.

We have been there 2x now in April at night. I haven't seen any entertainment of any kind outside on the boardwalk. Just those surrey rentals.

Are there certain times of day they do this or is it seasonal?

I have friends visiting there in October and wanted to give them accurate info.

Thanks for any help:D

We usually see the jugglers at various times during the day. Night time activities center on games. ::MickeyMo

I've seen a guy playing the piano that is attached to a bike in the evening. That's about all I've seen there. Of course, I pretty much just walk by, and head to Jellyrolls ;)

I think the entertainment is seasonal, available during peak seasons and weekends. We went in September, a very slow time, and saw the juggler and piano player on a weekend night.

We stayed at BWV the first week in May and saw all the "street performers" out every night. There were jugglers, a sword-swallower, the guy riding the piano-bike, and of course all the carnival games. I was really impressed with the atmosphere, it was lots of fun. There were families everywhere, my fiance and I loved watching the little kids "helping" the performers!

It definitely may be seasonal though, because the week in May that we were there was BY FAR the most crowded I've ever seen the world in May!

The Boardwalk entertainers perform year round, but perform more frequently during the busier times. They perform short skits at regularly scheduled times; you can get the Boardwalk entertainerment schedule at Guest Services in the BWI/BWV lobby. If it is raining they will perform in the lobby at their scheduled time.
Randy the juggler and I believe, the sword/fire eater's name is Carlos, are both really good. Well worth grabbing a table by the water with an ice cream cone from Seashore Sweets and catching their acts. The skits are short approx 10 mins, but are very good. Definitely fits right in with the festive boardwalk atmosphere.
During the busy times, you can usually see at least one entertainer per hour, during the slower times it decreases.
The Boardwalk Entertainers perform only in the evening, usually frrom approx 6 -10 PM, at staggering times.

When we were there 2 weeks ago, we saw a magician who was very good and very funny, and then a couple of nights later they had a group of guys doing an exhibition of skateboarding and tricks on bikes. They were good, too.

We had a fire eater and the piano player(Marc) one night, a magician another night over Easter week... It was so much fun! Love the atmosphere of the boardwalk at night!

We stayed at BWI last week and asked that exact question at check in. We didn't want to miss any of the fun!

We were told that the entertainment was every evening, except Sunday and Monday. Coincedentally, those are the same days the Atlantic Dance Hall is closed.
