Boardwalk Deluxe Club Level - room request?

We are planning on staying at Boardwalk - Deluxe Club Level. Anyone have advice for room requests? I heard 3rd floor has larger balconies but the lounge is on 4th? I’m thinking we could request 3rd floor but “close to stairs” or “close to club lounge”? I’m not sure how many or what type of requests they take.

When making room requests, try to be as clear about what you want as you can. Be prepared that it may not be possible for the room assigner to give you the room that you are hoping for.

In the case you described above, I would request close to club lounge rather than close to stairs. (There may be multiple stairways and the room assigner looking to fill your requests may not understand that your purpose is to have easier access to the lounge.)

I would also place requests in order of importance. For example, if proximity to the lounge is more important than a large balcony, then I would request a room close to the lounge with as large a balcony as possible. If the balcony size is a deal breaker then I would request a large balcony, as close to the club lounge as possible. If you have any other requests, then I would list that next.

I typically keep my requests to 3 or less and try to give the room assigner the most options to give me a room that will meet my needs.

Congratulations on your upcoming stay at the Boardwalk Club level. It is a wonderful resort!

There are only 10 Deluxe CL Rooms at the Boardwalk.

I heard 3rd floor has larger balconies but the lounge is on 4th?

5 of the 10 total Deluxe CL Rooms are on the 3rd floor do have a slightly larger balcony due to the external architectural layout of the building. Note that all of the 10 have a full size balcony.

I would limit your requests to a 4th floor room as they are all a short walk from / to the lounge, and then list near the lounge as your second request. You can have a max of 3 requests listed on your reservation.

There are five deluxe rooms on both levels. The two rooms on the third floor that are close to the stairs and have large balconies are 3255 & 3257. We stayed in 3257 not long ago, and our room was above Trattoria al Forno. We had a huge balcony, and the stairs were just a few steps away from our door. Our room was closer to the lounge than several of fourth floor rooms we’ve had in the past. We absolutely loved it and would request it again. Three of the rooms on the 4th floor are farther away from the lounge than the two deluxe rooms on the 3rd - as long as you have no issues walking one flight of stairs.
