I'm booked at the BW Concierge Deluxe Room after a Wonder cruise with 78yo Mom and DD3 / DS5 / DH and me. I read raves about the BW - but maybe not a good choice with young kids. Can anyone give me some feedback. We like the size of the room - we would consider another resort but we kind of feel an Epcot resort is good for Mom - more transportation options etc. Ugh - I'm stuck in the resort dilemna zone! Help me if you can.

Dont worry about it! Been there 4 times with my kids and its there favorite place to stay! In fact we will be there Oct.28-Nov.6!!!!!!!!!!!

If you are going while it's still warm, then I'd recommend Beach Club or Yacht Club over Boardwalk for small children. Why? Because of the pool, "Stormalong Bay". We spent hours and hours there without our children (5 & 7) at the time. There's a zero entry pool with sand on the bottom. Paradise for children, and it's closer to EPCOT I believe.

Boardwalk Inn is beautiful however, and their concierge is wonderful. Better than either BC and YC as far as offerings if I recall.

Still, I vote for YC or BC over Boardwalk for kids. You should search for some photos and check it out.

We have been staying at the BWI concierge for the past 4 years now, 2 of them with my son and his family. My grandaughter was only 11 months old when we first went. We have seen many children there and they are all treated wonderfully by the cast. One cast member even got on the floor to play with Madyson. I know you will love the deluxe room. They are large and the view from them is beautiful.

I have to agrre with KerryCM. The cast members at the BWI are the friendliest I've encountered. During our stay in Aug. they went out of their way to talk to my boys 13 and 16, as well as sit and play with a young baby 1 yr old and a girl who was 10. You will have a wonderful time and the deluxe rooms can't be beat. Enjoy! :wizard: :teacher:

Trust us all, you are absolutely making the right choice with BWI,especially concierge level! :sunny: We stayed for a few nights just a few weeks ago and for a week last year and the concierge cm's are fabulous! They are truely top notch and wonderful. They will help make your visit the best it can be. I cannot say enough wonderful things about them.

You may like their pool area better because it is more contained. My husband and I have had a hard time keeping track of our children at YC&BC pool because it is more spread out, although we love it there, too. Just depends on what you are comfortable with.

The deluxe rooms are fabulous. You will love the extra space and 2 tv's. I am excited for you. You are going to have a wonderful stay! :cheer2:

We are staying at the Villas in June with ds 13, dd 10 and ds 6. I think they will have a great time. There are a lot of things to do in the Boardwalk area for kids and I have heard really good things about the pool. Don't second-guess yourself. :wizard:
