As a life-long MK-area hotel guest, I have a pretty good understanding of the bus routes for the area, but I recently bought into the BWV. What other hotels does BoardWalk share bus service (to parks, DTD, and DME)? What order are the stops usually? Are the buses very frequent. (I know the 20 minute line, but also that that there are notable exceptions in both directions.)

Thanks for any information.

In the morning, BW shares with the S/D to the parks. Mid-day, they may share with the S/D, as well as YC/BC. To DTD, it's usually all those resorts. But, there have been times when returning from DTD that the buses have been split up. The buses seem to come fairly regularly....at least every 20 mins or so. I own at BWV as well, so am fairly conversant as to wait times.
DME can head to CBR as well as YC/BC. I've even had the bus stop at the S/D if Mears has someone who has paid to go there...not often but it has happened.

Thanks for the information. Do you know the bus stop order returning from the parks?

When returning from the parks, I get off the bus at the Swan and walk to the BWV. I don't have the patience to go the whole route.

Me too. It's much quicker to walk across the bridge, especially if you're staying on the villas side.

I detest the buses at Boardwalk. They always seem to take a long time and then they are shared with at least two other resorts and sometimes four! For some reason the bus also picks up at BWV and THEN goes over the Swan and Dolphin and then we make the whole loop around the Epcot resort complex passing by Boardwalk again. *sigh* The upside is that you can almost always get a seat because so few people use the bus.

I always wonder exactly why the buses are so bad and the ridership so low at the Epcot resorts. It's a kind of "chicken and egg" thing ... are the buses bad because there is low ridership or is the ridership low because the buses are so bad?
