Woohoo! I just got an updated contract so I now OFFICIALLY have my 4 venues!!!!! (Morocco, Canada, Attic and Sago Cay)!

I am thinking that I might keep the original cake and just do it all in the Attic. I will wait to make a decision though, since I do like a lot of the ones myself and Mandy posted on here.

OMG I am just soooo excited!!!!!!!!! Being in school makes time fly by too, so 6 months feels like nothing!!! Oh, and this means only 4 months until I get my dress! YAY!!

Thanks ladies I can't wait for my pics either!! LOL. This is a big kick in the but to get in shape so that I look good in my pics!

So I inquired about the 1st ring to have it done in white gold. The price more than doubled! So I am working with the artist to make the band thinner (which will work better for me anyway) and perhaps replacing one of the diamonds so that there are 2 diamonds and 2 pink sapphires. She has been really great with working with me, so hopefully this will all work out!

I am super confused right now (not to mention my head is clouded by wine, but whatever). Anyway, since I have been working hard lately, I decided to let myself have the afternoon/night off, which obviously means obsessively planning my wedding! So, I was going over what my budget will (probably) look like, and it is well past the Wishes expenditure. Of course, that includes the welcome/rehearsal party that doesn't count towards the min, but it doesn't include extra floral, decor, and anything else I may want to add!

So now I don't know what to do....should I just switch to "wishes"? I want the same venues either way, so I don't know if it will make that much of a difference. I just think there may be more value in the wishes wedding, since if you add up everything in the Escape package, it doesn't really match the value of if you did it through wishes.....does this makes sense??? AHHHH!!! I wish DF was home right now so I had a sane person here to help me!

Oh my.... you are in a pickle aren't you! lol Could you talk to your planner about it and see if it would make sense? i dont know much about the wishes bride package but if you're going to exceed the minimum and it would be a better value than i say go for it!

I thought about swapping as I was on the border line but decided to stay with Escape as I worried that if I changed to Wishes I would want lots of new things that I couldn't have before and then I'd end up spending even more money.

That's a good point. I guess staying with an Escape is a safety net, so if anything happens (financially) to us, I can cut out on things. Thanks, the definitely helped

I didn't even see your idea....for some reason my email link passed over it, lol! I was thinking what you were thinking too....but I think it is good that I can fall back if I need to. Plus, I really don't want to switch planners!!

I'm gonna start to get decor and flower ideas ready, since I have a phone appointment with Rosie in about a month and a half! I have WAY to many ideas!

Its kind of a double edged sword but if you're happy with your planner then i'd stick with the escape package.

The phone calls are fun!! I was worried because Escape packages apparently get 2 30 min calls, but my first call was like 2 hours, and my second was prob about an hour. It is good though because they totally let you take control, I just kept spitting out questions, and I got answers for most right away, or else I got them in a follow up email too.

It's funny too, cause I think most of the planner's read the boards (mine does anyway). Which is pretty helpful, because if I like something someone had, she knew what is was! (Ex: I wanted the photographer Heidi and Tom had for their MK shoot, and she knew immediately who it was).

My planner is great as well and the phone conversations we have had have been really nice and chatty.

Who do you have? Yah, I like that they make you feel really comfortable! And I never have felt rushed!
