Boardwalk- Big River Grille and Brewing Works????

Tessa - don't think they have a veggie burger.

I've eaten here many times. Food is good enough to go back, but not good enough to think about when I'm not there. If I see it, it doesn't make me hungry, but if I'm already hungry, I'm not hesitant about going in. This is probably the longest way to say "OK" I could have come up with.

Great place for beer and pretzels though!

Big River is our traditional arrival lunch when we stay at BWV. Their burgers are excellent! We were there 3 weeks ago and we laughed when the waitress asked if we knew what we wanted! Oh ya, we've been dreaming of this for months! We love to sit outside and just take in everything! Wish I was there now at the beginning of a trip!

It's our traditional first meal when we stay at BWV too! The kid's burger meal is great - they love the chocolate cake! That first lager is the kickoff to a great trip!!!!

We did eat there twice during our last trip at BWV and were disappointed in the dinner we had. The meat loaf was really dry and crispy on the edge, and the meal was pretty expensive for what you get. If you stick to the burgers, sit outside and have a nice beer - it's great

Does Big River have a full bar or just beer?

Glad I read this thread, needed to find something for the first day we arrive and we wanted to eat at the Boardwalk, Big River Grille sounds good...spending Christmas at Disney this year with our son (a Coastie on the USCG Confidence). Can anyone tell me about Jellyrolls? Thought about drinks there afterwards. Are under 21 allowed in with their parents? My daughter will be with us and she's only 18.

Jellyrolls is 21+ only, ID required.

They have a full bar.

Previous poster is correct, nobody under 21 is allowed in Jellyrolls. There's also a $10 per person cover, so most who go in there are intending to stay awhile, not just have drinks and leave.

They are on the DDP, 1 TS credit,
They just are not part of the Disney Reservation system. You have to call the restaurant directly, at the number listed above

We just ate there last week. None of us were impressed with our meals. The burgers were not that good. Hurricane Hannahs and Beaches & Cream much better. We all agreed we should have chosen another restaurant. I think there were only 3 tables with diners...

I have to tell you this is our FAVORITE place. The food is allways great - try the blackened mahi-mahi - and the beer is fantastic. We do visit here the day we arrive, and we always make it back again before we leave.
