My DH and I will be celebrating our 18th wedding anniversary on our next trip and I'm trying to plan a relaxing/romantic day. We've never been to the BW. Are there activities or anything going on around lunchtime? Is it worth going over for? We'd like to walk around the BW and then go over to Epcot and have a nice dinner followed by IllumiNations.

BTW, we're staying at POFQ...we have a carriage ride slated for the day before. :flower:

Activities (other than eateries) don't really begin until after dark on the Boardwalk. That being said, if you haven't been there, it is a very beautiful area, and certainly worth seeing.

The shops are open and some of the restaurants are open in the morning but mostly it is quiet. It is nice to stroll down if you want some peace and quiet but if you want activities you will need to wait until 4:00 or so.
