Boardwalk Bakery favorites

We will be staying at the Boardwalk, and having seen lots of pics of shelf after shelf of heavenly goodies, does anyone have a favorite item for me?

The bowtie twists are heavenly.......(so says my DD)

The only problem was that we didn't see them on our last 2 trips....

I like the cheese danish, and DS used to like the jelly doughnuts, but the last time we were there, they said they don't make them anymore. Maybe they do now though. Three people asked for them while we were trying to figure out an alternative.

The Boardwalk Bakery has discontinued my favorite. I loved the creme filled donuts. It was a cross between a heavy custard and a lighter cream.

I thought they also said they had discontinued the bowties. Another shame.

Their selections are becoming quite mainstream and ho-hum

My favorite, which I get to eat in 12 days, is the Chocolate Croissant. It is flaky and fuul of chocolate. It is sooooo good with coffe in the morning.
