I am also wondering if someone would have a list of cakes that Boardwalk Bakery offers. I have the catalog from the MK Special occassion cake ordering place, but I don't want to get the 8 inch cake with only the frosting.

Could you post info. from your catalog on here for us? or scan it?

There are only 4 of us for a little birthday celebration......I wonder rather than throwing cake away if we could get cupcakes and put candles on them?? Just a thought.. not sure what I will do but I am following this thread for information.. Thanks everyone!

Hi everyone!

I'd like that Mickey cake as well!
It does seem a bit big. Is there any truth to there being two sizes because I didn't see two sizes listed.
Also, any chance the surrounding restaurants [maybe even Cape May's] would let me take the cake to the restaurant?
i already tried the Grand Floridian Bakery and their policy was strictly not. So I'm wondering if Boardwalk Bakery is the same.

I ordered the almost the exact same cake from MK bakery for dd's birthday in January. It was delicious. It was worth the $45 just for the way it looked! It was huge too. We ate it all week and still left a good size portion for mousekeeping. Enjoy!

There is a huge thread that has been ongoing now regarding the types of cakes available and at what places. It's a stickie at the top of the Restauants board. They have some terrific photos so you can get an idea of what's available. Yes, it's a very long thread but it's incredibly helpful.

I would check the Cake Chatter thread and look for Lurkyloo's link with all of the cake info. I know the standard (fondant and buttercream) Mickey cake is detailed on there.
