I leave in less than 4 days!!! Woopppeee!!! And I am still working on finalizing some things.

I was wondering is the Boardwalk area (games, resorts, piano bar, etc.) worth visiting?

If so, would you visit in the day or night time?

Thanks - Rachel

Visit at night. We stay almost exclusively at Boardwalk villas. There is no entertainment during the day to speak of...at night the board walk comes alive with magicians, games and the clubs get hopping. Definately go at night.

We enjoyed it for shopping and eating. Its a nice area and is really beautiful at night. If you've never gone, you should. Its not a whole day's entertainment but it is lovely. Lots of places to eat, and some entertainers around the boardwalk. Enjoy.

Night time is the best time to go. Its alot of fun. Go and enjoy.

It's dead during the day. Nighttime definitely. It's one of our favorite places in all of Disney World, afternoon or night. Walk around Crescent Lake and see all of the Epcot resorts. Rent a surry bike. Grab a slice of pizza from the takeout window and sit along the lake and watch the Friendship boats going around. If it's ever out of rehab, seeing Breathless running is, well, breathless. Go to the Bakery and get some pastries for breakfast the next morning. The cinnamon slab could feed a family of four.

A great place to stop, relax, grab a pastry from the bakery, find a bench and sit and soak up the atmosphere. My wife and I always make a stop here...love it!

BW is a great place to go at night especially when the parks close early.

Another great time to be on the BW is very early in the morning. Get a cup of coffee, find a bench and enjoy the quiet.

yes yes yes it is fantastic ...walk around the boardwalk relax ...the magic shows....the bakery....espn wings....it is a must to visit...you got to visit it....

Another quick question. Is there a type of club or something that allows access to those under 21? We're travelling with a 20 year old who would like to find a dance floor in the evenings.

Thanks in advance.

What about kids....is it a place to bring children?

Definitely. Very kid friendly.

MyTy - I think that answers your question. Very strict 21 and older policy. The two clubs at the Boardwalk - Jellyrolls and Atlantic Dance Hall - are 21 and over. You might want to check out the offerings at Pleasure Island.

Jellyrolls is a LOAD of fun. Me and my friends went back three nights in a row last year after we finished with the parks. We had an absolute blast!

I guess I should have been more specific...my son will be 18 months old. What is there for him to do?
