Boardwalk area coffee options before 6am?

We may not end up needing our rental car for our fall trip, but DH gets up early (between 4 & 5 a.m.) and doesn't want to wake me by making coffee in the room. Is there anywhere decent to get coffee this early? He used to walk to the Dunkin' Donuts at the Hess station, but that's not there anymore. I was thinking maybe the counter service at the Dolphin, but then saw a review saying that the coffee was bad. Any suggestions . . .

A Speedway gas station took over for Hess. Their coffee is good according to my family (I don't drink coffee).

If he likes iced coffee, he could put some in the fridge the night before.

I just set the little coffee maker up at night. Just press the on button and make a cup in the room?

Great thoughts--he only does hot, but I suggested that we move the coffee maker into the bathroom and set up the night before, so I'm thinking he'll go this route or try the Speedway. Thanks all!
