Boardwalk and AKL part 3.

Day 3 started out late as well. we wandered over to MGM about 11 am. All of us this time together. We took the boat which is just so easy. oh yes, forgot to mention saw a diser lime green mickey heads all over and ribbon. So lady with the red hair you are the first diser I have seen. But you went by in a flash and I guess did see my lime green ribbons!
Anyhow we went to MGM We did catastrophe canyon, muppets and had a ps at Sci Fi. Which I love. My DB had never been in there, And he seemed to enjoy the campy movies, He was a big creaure double feature fan when we were little and alot of the movies were from that series. I thought he would have a stroke when he heard 65 dollars for a salad, 3 kids meals and a burger, Its those glow cups that get you. But hell those are fine china at my house we now have service for 12! It was moderately crowded and we mostly wandered around no pressure a real vacation for me. we left around 2pm. To get ready for MVMCP. Mostly this invloved getting the little guys to nap. Before the party. DB, dbgf and ds9. stayed at MGM and did tower of terror. RRRC. and dbgf mom and I walked back along the path to the boardwalk this is the first time I used this and it was a nice walk back. Afrer a nap. I opted out of my LTT ressie and we had noodles and relaxed we arrived at the party about 7. It was very crowded the castle looked very nice and the balloon candy canes were very nice. Main street was crazy. All in all we did every ride we wanted Buzz 3 times no waits. Philharmagic which I loved!!!!!The kids seemed to really like it as well. we did the race cars which we genreally do not due as the line is always so long. this was at most a 3 minute wait we did it 3 times. We did watch the parade from near splash mountain, It was a great parade! We wandered and lasted till just after12am. Then we hopped a cab back to Boardwalk. I take cabs. I can not handle the buses with the double stroller! And I do not bother with the car rental for the same reason... the trams. we had a great fun day no meltdowns on behalf of the kids. DB had had enough of kids by then,
But this was really his last full day. Tommorow we switch to AKL. He goes home and it gets really complicated when 5 other travelers arrive to join us for the last 5 days!

Wow, you had the kids out until after 12am - amazing that they lasted...very impressive - did you pay the next day (I am not reading Part 4 and 5 tonight as I need to get some work done tonight)...

DW would have some things to say to me for a post 12am night at the parks

The boys did not get to sleep till after 1am. But we had also napped from about 3-30 till 6pm. So they were well rested. Uncle needed a nap though. He was done by the end of the evening. I slept in every day. I don't think we got out before 10 on any day!

Sounds wonderful - sleeping in etc....

There was one time in May that I stayed at E-Ride night until closing (which was 1am+) and then kinda dragged/stumbled back to the CR North Wing where a KNO sitter was with DS#1.....Boy was I pleased when Mickey called at 0655 for the wake up call that I had forgotten I programmed in

That was the best part of this trip, I did not set the alarm or call for a wake-up call even once the entire trip. It was great.

I have been wanting to try SciFi. We tried to get in in October, but they said no walk ups. Boy did I learn my lesson! We went to the Poly last weekend for 4 nights and I made 8 PS!

How hard is it to get a cab from MK? And how much is it to take back to the BW (if you don't mind my asking)?

I think it was about 11 0r 12 dollars? worth every penny, no stroller hassles!!!!

Do you have to call a cab company? Or are there some waiting?

There is a cab stand at every park. They also come in handy during the afternoon rain storms. I always use cabs! Just follow the signs to ground transportation, there are always at least 5 or 6 there. I do not know why more people don't exercise this option, So much less hassle!
