I really appreciate the responses from all you seasoned cruisers. You folks are helping out a lot.

I have a question about boarding the ship. I know that the ship leaves at 5:00 p.m. How early can we board the ship, and if you board at the earliest possible time, are the lines open to book Palo?

You can usually board around noon. The reservations for Palo and the spa open shortly thereafter.

As an addendum to what Credit Man said - the official boarding time is around 12:00 noon - I have heard of boarding occuring as early as 11:00AM rarely and quite often as early as 11:30 or 11:45 - it all depends I guess.

Palo/Spa ressies oficially open at 1:00PM - I haven't heard of them starting to take these ressies before 1:00PM.

The terminal actually opens at 10:30 so, if you would like, you can get there early and be one of the first ones in line to board.

that will be me this Saturday!!!!!!!!!!:teeth: :teeth: :teeth:

If you're wanting to be one of the first on board (other that those in Cat 1-3) you can drive to the port and get your car in line to enter the terminal around 9:30. The terminal will open between 9:45 to 10:15. You can check in and get in line to board the ship. Boarding can start anywhere between 11:00 to 12:30.

While the ship leaves at 5:00, everyone is expected to be on board by 3:00 - 3:30 because you must be present for the 4:00 emergency drill.
