I’ve only been on 4 Disney cruises, and it’s been awhile, we decline to be announced/welcomed. I’m one of those weird people who doesn’t like others knowing my name (last) unless I choose to share it. I’m not a fan of it.

I wouldn't say weird, but in all honesty 99.9% won't remember it anyway.

But as I posted above, it applies to everybody at the Resorts and parks not just DVC. There was even some controversy after COVID reopening because the video had the CM's saying Welcome Home with their masks on in the parks.

Glad to know that. Thank you. We've been DVC since 2008 and that is the continuous greeting we get.
