We are considering having an evening just chilling at Boardwalk and doing some lower-key things there, just curious if you can see illuminations from there???

I think you can only see the fireworks from the Boardwalk area. You might be able to get some kind of a view on the bridge that connects the Epcot International Gateway side to the Boardwalk side. You will see the ESPN Club near that bridge on the boardwalk side.

You can probably hear some of the music and see some of the higher fireworks but you won't be able to see the laser stuff.

We always stay at the Yacht/Beach club and the above posters are right-you can only see the fireworks;not the laser show... the fireworks are still great from the bridge connecting the Boardwalk and Beach Club

You can see some of the show from the bridge that goes over a canal that leads to Epcot's lagoon. You won't see the entire show but you'll see a great deal of it.

Thanks for the tips guys, never having been there, it is hard to "picture" some of these spots you mention, but i will defiently jot them down and take them with me, along with the ones from tourguidemike--my new obsession

We were just there last week. We watched the fireworks from the bridge that connects from Beach Club to Boardwalk. There is a 'loop' where you can walk around from Boardwalk to Beach Club, to the Dolphin. You will see what we mean when you get there. We stood on the bridge and could see a lot of the fireworks, but now of the laser show. We could faintly hear the music. It was still very nice.
