BO for free dining, but got room only discount...

We were so excited when they extended FD, but it was short lived b/c since we are going Oct. 30, it's blacked out! BUmmer! I got over it, after upgrading to CS (we are staying value), it would have really only meant $400 savings to us...and while that is alot of money, it didn't make or break the trip. But I did call yesterday and got the new room dis rate applied and we saved $240.92...that made us happy! At least we got some discount!

I'm the same way. I found one discount code, used it then found the FD code. Went to use that instead only to be told that it was BO.

The way I look at it is the week we're there it won't be as busy because people will be switching to the week before/after.

Do you have a travel agent? We're going in Oct. during the Free Dining blackout, but there was a pin attached to our name when my travel called to book, so we got the Free Dining! It's worth a try. Hope you'll have a great time either way!

You would be told about the PIN with or without a TA. If you had called on your own, you still would have been offered FD.

Believe me, I have called 3 times now asking if a pin showed up by my name! I have given up on that one! We are happy we at least got a room discount, we were going w or wo the free dining anyways!

Thanks Tinkyrie! I called this morning and a VERY helpful woman named Arista found the Free Dining PIN attached to my name that I would not have know about! It expires October 6 and I was able to get the FD during a blackout time in December! DH was pretty excited!
