Bo Bice's New CD?

I have it. I give it a B or B+. It isn't quite what I was hoping for, which was really hard southern rock. It ranges from pop rock, to southern rock "lite". I wanted a really "nasty" album.

It is an album made for the masses. I doubt it is the album he wishes he could have made. Just my opinion.

I have it and really like it. I have to agree with Papa Deuce though, I was wanting more hard southern rock and this is more lite, but still pretty good.

I love his voice and he sounds wonderful, so that makes up for the hard stuff missing.

Here is hoping that he sell enough CDs to make a second album viable. I doubt this album will sell much outside of his AI fan base.

If he can get radio and TV time like Carrie has, maybe he can get past this first one. Carrie is all over CMT and if Bo makes a true rock album maybe VH1 and MTV would take note.

Well, maybe not MTV. Do they ever play music any more?

News is not good. I just went to www.billboard.com.

He isn't even in the top 50 of any chart that I looked at. Not good for a 3 week old CD.

Has his album even been promoted at all? I only knew it was out because I saw it in KMart. I almost bought it, but didn't because I wanted to hear some songs first. While Bo wasn't my choice to win Idol, I really like his voice and I just think he is a nice person in general. I hope his album does well...I'll have to go get it. I got my youngest DD Carrie's album for Christmas, but we haven't played it yet.

I love this guy and want him to do well. Don't know how I missed iT!

This album definitely has its highlights but like any rushed album it also has its lowlights.

A second album should be more revealing of the true Bo Bice. Last year's Canadian Idol and this year's runner up are going through the same growing pains. I am looking forward to the next album for all three of them.
