OK, I have to say that if you are expecting the rough and tumble southern rock styled guy from AI, you might be disapponted. This CD is slightly edgy pop rock, with hints of his southeren roots mixed in sparingly. Just call it a "rock" album.
None of the songs from AI that we might have hoped he would cover ended up on the CD. I really wanted "For the Love of Money" to be there.
I enjoy "Valley of Angels" the most after one listen of the CD.
I give it a solid "B+". I just wish it had showed more of his "grungy" southern roots... and I mean that in the best way.
