Blue's Road Trip - Part II ~ New 5/6: It Pays To Have Connections!!

I followed your link to the passporter site and decided that DBF and I just HAD to have one! ::yes:: Thanks for the great idea! :thumbsup2

You're very welcome :goodvibes

Did you see all the neat memory pages with pockets in the back? I think it will be very useful for storing stuff and to help keep track for our TR's :yay:

Yesterday, I booked the Richard Petty Driving Experience (8 laps) for Grumpy!!!

I've been keeping it quiet until I had it booked.

He's pretty darn happy about it :)

:cheer2: :dance3: :cheer2:

It holds five messages and this is what we have programmed in at the moment:

1) Student Driver (for JoJo)
2) Harry Potter Madness (that was for the night of the release of the book)
3) We're going to WDW
4) Plumbers never get trapped
5) Get off my A** (you can fill in the *'s)

I need some WDW phrases to replace the other 4. Any suggestions???

Here are some qoutes from Disney movies.

"To Infinity and beyond"- Buzz Lightyear
"Reach for the sky"-Woody
"Oh bother"-Pooh
"What's the Hullaballo about?"-Jane
"I laugh in the face of Danger"- Simba
"The very things that hold you down are going to lift you up"-Timothy from Dumbo
"Hmm.....Leave town for a couple of Decades and the change everything"-Phoebus from Hunchback of Notre Dame
"The first thing in a visit is to state you name and business. Then shake hands."- Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum
"Hmm! Teenagers. They think they know everything. You give them an inch and the swim all over you."- Sabastian
" Swell, just what I need a couple of rodents looking for a theme park."- Megara from Herucles

I know some are to long for the plate but they are to cute. Hope they are of some help.

Thanks castawaymam!!!

I think I'll use these ones:

"Hmm! Teenagers. They think they know everything. You give them an inch and the swim all over you."- Sabastian

" Swell, just what I need a couple of rodents looking for a theme park."- Megara from Herucles

The message can be up to 250 characters so those are perfect :thumbsup2

glad you liked them, here is a few more. They are from Disney songs.

"I will fingd my way, I can go the distance." Hercules
"We must be swift as the coursing river."Mulan
"When the road looks far ahead and your miles and miles from your nice warm bed. Just remember what your old pal said, boy you've got a friend in me." Toy Story.

Here are some from Cars, just for him to get him ready for the Richard Petty Driving Experience.

Lightning McQueen qoutes
"This is not good for my image."
"Racecars don't need headlights, because the racetrack is always lit."
"Float like a Cadillac, sting like a Beemer."

Mack
"What did I forget to wipe my mudflaps?"
"Get back you oil-thirsty parasites."

Mater
"Whee-hoo! I'm the first on the new road."

Darrell Cartrip/Darrell Waltrip
"Boogity, Boogity, Boogity, boys. Let's go racin'."

Okay, think I'll go with these two as well.

Thanks for the suggestions :thumbsup2

That sounds like a wonderful surprise! Now do you get a surprise?

My surprise was being able to go to WDW for a second year in a row! :dance3:

Here's hoping I can convince him to go for a third :wizard:

What a good woman you are!!!:thumbsup2

Sometimes I will tell my husband about some of the things I read on the boards, but I will NOT be sharing this with him.

You are getting so close!! I'm soooo excited for you.

The Petty Driving Experience sounds like a wonderful surprise. Your DH is going to have so much fun!

Yes he is but the strange thing about it is that he doesn't like thrill rides. :confused3

It will just be Goofy and I hitting the coasters :woohoo:

After the drive down he may get in the car and just keep going...

You may be right. I should have saved it for the end of our trip instead of the beginning

Don't you just love the holiday pay! I also had to work today. I worked from midnight till eight this morning. I didn't mind it though b/c I was bringing home the big bucks for that shift. And what did I do while at work? I watched Harry Potter and read trip reports. I work so hard for my money;)

Nothing really interesting happens during the summer. I work at a university so all the funny/good stuff happens when the students are here in the fall and winter. That is also when all the annoying/pain in the behind stuff happens. The summer is very relaxing though. I basically get paid to sit there and dis for 8 hours.

An old colleague of mine lives near the University and also used to work there. I wonder if she's still there.

Sending you a PM.
