Has anyone ever stayed at this resort? We will be staying here in April and I cannot find anything on the dis boards about it and was curious if anyone was familiar with it or has any information regarding this resort.

This is a great resort, I stayed here last year and the kids loved it. It has to great pools and one is indoor outdoor and had good activities. It has a double water slide that the kids can race. You will have a great time. I have a review on tripadvisor.

Thanks for the information and putting my mind to ease hearing that someone from the dis stayed here and enjoyed it.

Did you just stay or did you do the tour? A friend referred us so she could get a discount on her maint. fees. Agreed to the tour provided we stayed on site. I have called three times to verify we are booked at the resort and not a hotel. Every time I am given the same info. So I am hopeful no bait and switch when we check in. We will be staying at the resort June 29- July 2. Hoping to take the tour early as possible. Is it a high pressure tour. How close is it to Disney and universal? would it be realistic to take a midday break at the parks while staying at the resort?

I don't know much about the resort itself - other than that it looks nice and where it's located. The resort is on South International Drive, across the road from the Sheraton Vistana Villages resort (and next to Floridays) in a fairly quiet part of I Drive. It's just up the road from Vineland Ave where one of the Premium Outlet shopping areas is located (and a nice, big Publix supermarket). It's around a fifteen to twenty minute drive from The Fountains to the various Disney parks' parking lots and about fifteen minutes to the Universal/Islands of Adventure parking garages (even closer to SeaWorld, can't be much more than five minutes from resort to parking lot).

Our family stayed here for 7 nights. At the time our boys were 6 & 9. We absolutely LOVED it! It is definitely close enough to take a break from the parks for a nap or lunch. It was furnished with everything we needed. Make sure to plan at least one day just to enjoy the resort. Our boys loved the pool area with the slides. There were games at the pool also. You have nothing to worry about staying here. It's also in a great location. Quiet and conveniently near the parks and shopping.:thumbsup2

We did the tour several years ago, it was the easiest of the three that we had done. We let them know up front that we had no intention to buy, they were very good about it.

We have planned a day just at the resort. I am relieved to hear positive comments and am happy to hear about the exact location and time to parks!
Thanks to everyone who replied!
