What a sweet thing for Jaeden to say! Those moments when siblings are so nice to one another are the ones that make me glad I had more than one and make up for all of those squabbles.

I love both of those shows. And I was surprised that the men/boys in our party also enjoyed Beauty and the Beast.

Just catching up here.

I turn into a marauding horde of piranha when I'm hungry and tired. So, despite the meltdown, I figured you had a good day at DHS. And great job getting from LMA to BatB back to the Playground with 3 kids on your own.

Looking forward to the Tiana update!

We did have a lot of fun at DHS. Though I didn't plan very well since we totally crisscrossed the park both times!

Can't blame you for the meltdown! It can be so frustrating trying to get to DTD from a park. I understand why they do it that way, but it doesn't make it easier to deal with when your child needs a bathroom and you are hungry!

I'm glad you made it to Beauty and the Beast. That is one of our favorite shows. Still haven't made it to LMA. Might have to make a point of it next time.

You should, LMA is a good show. Bella enjoyed it, though not as much as the boys did. Beauty and the Beast is wonderful!!!

Getting caught up! I do not blame you at all for ur little meltdown. you had those kiddos ALL DAY. And the heat!! Looks like fun overall though!

Overall it was, just a little stressful by the end of the day! But we still had a good time!

Joining in a little late but I just found your TR and wanted to comment then I will go back and finish reading. DH and I were there at POR the same days as you! I started a TR (See sig) but I got really busy and never got the chance to finish it, When I went to try to finish it (Had just the last night and the trip home to update) they had closed it, I guess it had been too long... It was definitely hotter than I was expecting it to be. Looking forward to reading more.

I have been glued to this TR all evening and I just got caught up! Sounds like you guys were having a great trip! Looking forward to hearing about the rest. I was wondering if we may have crossed paths during the week but I think the only day we overlapped so far was the first day, we were there for Spectro/Wishes and EMH too. We were back in town square for the parade, though (We had eaten at Tony's)

Welcome! How cool that you were there the same time! What building were you in? We were in 1701/1702. A little further than I'd hoped but it turned out ok. EMH our first night was a lot of fun, even though we were tired. And thanks for the compliment about the clothes! I didn't make the ones in the next update...

I was surprised at how much the boys enjoyed it. I figured they would think it was too girly, but Beauty and the Beast I've found is one princess movie that boys don't seem to mind. And the show is so well done!!!

On our last full day, we decided that we were going to sleep in. We were all pretty exhausted after a long, hot week. I had two main objectives for the day: meet Tiana and watch Wishes from the hub. Everyone else wanted some quiet time at the pool, so Bella and I got dressed and headed to the Magic Kingdom.

We got there about 9:45. Of course, the line for the 10:00 greeting was full so we just wandered around for a while and went in a few shops. I snapped these pics:

At about 10:30, we went back to try for the 11:00 greeting. And there were only four families in front of us! So we settled in for the half hour wait until they came back. It was shady and there was a ledge to sit on, so it went pretty quickly. I don’t know if I have mentioned this in my TR so far, but Bella’s cute Tiana dress that I made was still hanging in my closet at home. I had forgotten it. I really wanted her to wear it to meet them, but oh well.

And FINALLY!

Before long, it was our turn. Now, all the stalking and waiting we had to do was totally worth it. This was by far the best character interaction of the trip. As soon as it was Bella’s turn, Tiana smiled at her and read her shirt. “You believe in fairies? That’s good. And I’ll tell you why…” and she and Naveen talked and talked Bella’s ear off about the Disney fairies and all the cool things they do. Bella was seriously in awe. When they were signing the autograph book, Naveen accidentally turned two pages and found Pocahontas. He went on about how that wasn’t him and if it was he would have to stand like this, and did a Pocahontas pose. We were cracking up. We talked about St. Louis and how it’s “right down the river” from New Orleans. They took so much time with us and it was great. Picture overload:

This meet was one of my favorite memories from the whole trip. Actually, this whole morning. After we were done meeting Tiana and Naveen, I let Bella decide what she wanted to do. We walked around, took our time, and she got to pick. She picked Magic Carpets, so we went and rode them. Then we had a Dole Whip! Yum! I wish I would’ve gotten a pic. She wanted to go to Carousel of Progress (she loves that for some reason) so we did. We had lunch at Cosmic Ray’s and rode It’s a Small World again.

We spotted the Fairy Godmother by the castle.

Then Bella decided she wanted to swim. We stopped for some pics before we left.

We headed back to the hotel and had a really great time at the pool!

Yes, it was my favorite! I hope they don't get rid of it and just throw her in with the other princesses when FL is done. I loved the wings, too, that was one of the main reasons I bought that outfit!

We decided to spend our last evening at the Magic Kingdom. I had seen part of Wishes from Fantasyland early in the week, but I really wanted to watch from the Hub. My parents were still worn out and were done with the parks, so Kellie, Jaeden, Noah, Bella, and I headed to the bus stop.

Bella was in a really good mood, and was being a ham at the bus stop. She thinks it is hilarious to try to hug Jaeden all the time since he is such a big “cool” boy now, so she is always trying to do it!

We got to the Magic Kingdom with no real destination in mind. The boys wanted to do Pirates again, but Bella didn’t want to. So she played in the totem poles while they went on.

And then we went for a little “cruise.”

After that, we went to grab some dinner at Pecos Bill’s. Then we headed over to Splash Mountain.

By the time we were done, it was just about time for Spectro. Noah and I really wanted to ride Space Mountain one more time, and we had one FP left on our GAD cards. We headed that way slooooooowly due to all the parade traffic. We left Kellie, Jaeden, and Bella shopping in Fantasyland and RAN to Space. I knew I wanted to be in place to catch Wishes, but noone else really seemed to care about watching it. When we got to Space, it was an 80 minute posted wait. ALL the FP machines were closed, so I asked the CM if we could get one with our GAD voucher, but she said she couldn’t give out any more.

Noah knew I wanted to see Wishes, and honestly he didn’t want to wait 80 minutes either (I mean, that is just crazy). So we caught back up with the others and Bella decided she was going to come see Wishes with me after all. The other three headed out of the park while we found a spot right by the Partners statue. We were directly to the right of it and before long the show started.

My pics didn’t turn out too great:

At one point during the show, Bella looked at me and said, “Mom, it’s called Wishes, so I made a wish. You should make one too.”

I looked at her and said, “I don’t need to, because my wish would be to be sitting right here, right now, watching Wishes with you.” And then I completely LOST IT. I bawled like a baby through the entire ending. Even though our trip was over, they were happy tears, and I could never feel the way I felt at that moment anywhere else but there.

Then it was over and we were pushing our way with the masses down Main Street. We stopped and did a little shopping. I knew some DISers were meeting at Tony’s after Wishes, but it was probably 45 minutes later by the time we made it there and they were gone. We said one last good-bye to the MK and were on our way back to the resort for the last time. The notso ME would be picking us up around 10 am the next morning.

I have rented it 2 times previously and returned it unwatched both times. It was such a cute movie so I think I appreciated the meet pictures even more now! Well, we actually didn't go all the way over to Tony's. I veered that way and got close and saw that there was literally noone on the patio. And then continued out the gates. So maybe if I had walked closer we would have seen each other? I had figured you guys might be gone by then, and the second parade was getting ready to start, so I thought maybe you had found places for it. At least we got to meet up once!

What a great ending to your trip! I know that feeling like all your wishes have come true! So glad you got to experience that!

I probably should refrain from buying that CD, no matter how much I want it! I don't want to be sobbing every time I get in my car! Bella and I listened to a sample of the Spectro music online today and I had goosebumps and thought I was going to tear up...I loved Wishes and I am really looking forward to Hallowishes!
