Blue Man Group

Hello everyone I have just booked tickets to see the Blue Man Group on the 20Th October at universal has any one see them and can tell me what to expect , I have viewed the video on the universal web site and it looks great . I have not booked the poncho section but have booked front row of the tier 1 10 feet behind the poncho section so hope the paint does not reach us there as I will be doing lots of this . All comments gratefully received

There is an ongoing thread on the Universal boards discussing BMG. We are hoping to see them in August. From what I have read, people who have sat in the poncho section haven't been 'hit' with anything yet - I think it is merely a precaution.

I know it's probably not much good to you when you want to know now but I will be writing about it in my trip report when we return at the end of August

I saw them in Las vegas 3 years ago at the Luxor.

Its one of those shows thats hard to explain, I did enjoy it but thought i was expensive, however I notice the tickets in Orlando are almost half the price I paid so at that price its good value!

Its very odd and you will either get it and love it or walk out confused at what just happened! bit like cirque.

Ditto. Not as good as Cirque Du Soleil (in my opinion) but DH and I still thought it was absolutely wonderful.

Edit - I shouldn't really have said "not as good as Cirque du Soleil" as the two shouldn't be compared; they are entirely different. I simply meant that if I had a choice of watching Cirque or Blue Man Group, I would go for Cirque. However, Blue Man Group really is incredible and definitely worth seeing if you aren't bothered by slapstick and plain good fun!

saw them 2 years ago and we loved it... even got the chance to do a photo op, I will try to go through my dvds and if I find the concert I would mail you a copy...

Thanks for the info would love to see a DVD ANTSS2001 if you have it I would appreciate it . I hope it is going to be good I have booked the tickets for my DH birthday , 10 year old DS keeps watching the video clip on universal so fingers crossed they both enjoy

finally found the dvd... I just need your addy... and another concern of mine is... the zoning situation... but acc'ding to my friend of you have a dvd on PC this would be fine....
