Has anyone seen this? Some friends of ours want us to go see this when it comes to the Kohl Center in Madison. I had never heard of it. I looked at their website a little to try and get an idea what this was like. If anyone has seen this, please let me know what you thought of it.

Missed The Complex tour when it came through LA, but I would have loved to have seen it. Based on 3 visits to their show in Las Vegas, anything Blue Man Group does has got to be terrific (and probably mind-blowing). The Complex album is incredibly good! If you have the chance to see the tour - by all means, do it!

I have not seen this show, but did see the show in Vegas. If you are remotely interested in percussion, rock fusion, comedy, light shows, etc, GO!!!! Get good seats!!!! Blue Man Group is amazing, they are talented beyond belief and put on an excellently produced show.

Yes!!!! We saw this show this past summer here in CT and it was awesome. Be warned, however, that it is VERY loud. We had seen BMG in Manhattan at Christmastime and DS loved it so when this show came to CT, we were psyched. It was a totally different show than the one in NYC which was in a very small, intimate theatre. This one was more music-oriented but equally as good in a different way. The show is not for everyone, however. It's quite eclectic and really probably like nothing you've experienced, but we LOVED it. I say GO have fun!

We saw it twice out here in the bay area (my fiance is quite a fan). It's much more rock show than performance art (like the permanent shows in LV, NY etc are).

If you like rock music, esp. drums etc. it's terrific. I think the music is so much fun (lyrics are a bit strange at times, but thats okay), I listen to the CD all of the time.

*spoiler alert* (won't ruin the show, but read only if you need more convincing)

Great covers of White Rabbit by Jefferson Airplane and I Feel Love, the disco song. They also do (being from NY) are very emotional 9-11 thing that make me tear up, without being in your face about it. (Actually, if I hadn't read about it, I would have never made the 9-11 connection. It's called exhibit 13) The opening band, Venus Hum, is also quite good (although better on CD than live)

I highly reccomend it:)
