Hi all after a bit of advice we are thinking of doing the Blue Man Group for our trip on April - with our DS8.

Is it worth it

Thanks

We have been to the BMG show in Orlando 3 times and loved it every time. Its a great show and our kids really enjoyed it as well. Poncho seats are the best. I highly recommend it. If you go, get there early. The theater is a 15 minute walk from the parking ramp and you should be at the theater at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the show. Also, bring a camera. The blue men come to the lobby after the show for pictures.

We saw it in Vegas about 7 years ago. It was a good show, but you have to go into it realizing it's not a story,or has a theme or anything. It's purely performance art. Don't look for meaning or anything else. It is what it is lol. I'm glad we weren't in the poncho area. DH's company had the entire theater for two shows when we were all there for a weekend. We picked an envelope containing two tickets out of a bin and that's the seats we got. We were up in the last few rows in the balcony in the theater we were in at the Venetian, but it was still a great view.

Blue Man Group is a great show. We have seen it twice. DS6 and DD9 loved it! We saw it at the Briar Street Theater in Chicago both times and this is their original "home". Not sure if the road show is any different, but I am sure it will be great either way. Enjoy!

I saw it in Berlin tickets where about $89/£54 even at that price I can say they where worth it. The show is entertaining and funny. The best way to figure out if you'll like it is to watch it............on youtube

These vids don't ever portray what it's like to experience the real thing. But they are a decent indication.

It's worth it! Have seen it 3 times, though not in Orlando. It's just a really fun show for all ages.

We are fans of the BMG show and have seen it multiple times. A lot of fun. :thumbsup2

In one word: Yes

Seen them locally, and at Universal... loved both.

I have an 8 year old grand daughter. We watched you tube of La Nouba and Blue Man Group.

We saw Blue Man Group back in Vegas-- I think at 8 years old this will be right up their alley.

Poncho seats are nice but I am looking at the preferred seating so she can see all around her.

When they release the balls-- that stuff will be happening behind her--so a thought consideration.

Prices are going up on Apr 1 too.

Interactive show with audience. They try to get everyone involved with dancing and activities. Kids will love it. It is something to try at least once.

Just took our DS8 to see it in NYC in December. He LOVED it. We have recommended it to a lot of people and taken a lot people to it, and only one of them did not like it.

The only thing I warn people about is that it is really loud (at least in NYC it is). I think the one person I know who didn't like did not the music.

back to the Mouse this past year. We were visiting DD who lives down there & works for Universal. Conned him into staying on site with a free DDP code & a promis not to spend TOO much time in the parks. We had seen La Nouba a few years ago so, since DD got a discount, I thought we'd try BMG this time. Well, DH loved it, truly the highlight of the trip (besides seeing DD of course). AND, DD's roommate works for a ticketing agency and, as a thank youo for taking him out to dinner while down there, he got us COMPS!!!
