Blue lagoon

Has anyone taken a water taxi and gone over to Blure Lagoon? Do they have a public beach and a place to eat lunch? This sounds like a nice place but I'm not sure if we should go there unless we do the dolphin encounter.

We were on the 11/21 Wonder and went to Blue Lagoon for the day, although we booked the excursion through Disney. We did not do the Dolphin Encounter, just the Beach Day.

Having had done the Atlantis Beach day previously, we found this trip to be more relaxing. We were provided lunch as part of the excursion. It is a very relaxing, beautiful place to visit.
