Thank you for that info on Yak and Yeti, ladies. I agree, Catherine. What a name! Do you think there will be either on the menu!? I enjoy a good buffalo burger as much as the next guy, but I may have to draw the line at yak meat! Unless...it tastes just like chicken!

I had a buffalo steak at the Cowboy Club in Sedona. I really enjoyed it. The rattlesnake--not so much . I buy ground buffalo for tacos and such. It is really tasty. And when I have fussy friends like Beth over, I don't mention that it is buffalo!

Fake Yeti is right up there with imitation crab meat in my book. I don't like them "pressing" other seafood and calling it crab, and I sure as heck don't want them pressing some other abominable species and calling it faux yeti--not for my spaghetti!

Maybe there will be a Yeti soup du jour. That would fit in with your diet!

I did some reading on the fridge swap threads. There now seem to be a dozen going around Pop and much confusion with them. So, the fridge swap may be a bit of a gamble come November.

I don't watch the Sopranos or eat weird foods, , but I did a Google search and this is what I came up with:

Hi there! Welcome to the DIS!

Basically this trip started last year when a few of us decided to get together at WDW without our kids/hubbys and meet up with some others who liked Disney as much as we do.

The trip planning last year started in March and we went on our trip in Sept. In the months leading up to the trip we had a chat thread that we'd all visit and talk and get to know one another.

There ended up being about 45 ladies who went last time for either part or all of the trip. And once we came back, there were a few who decided to keep in touch and plan another one for this year.

I don't think we'll have as many this year. If you go to the first page you'll find the list of who's going so far and where they are staying.

Some are from last time and we have some who are new this time around. We have all ages, some are married, some aren't, some have kids, some don't, so it's pretty much a mixed group.

Basically, we have lists on the front of some ADR's that have been made already and if you are interested you can ask to sign up and meet with a group somewhere.

Most likely more ADR's will continue to be made. As far as touring the parks, we generally don't have a set schedule. We k ind of play it by ear. It's not a strict schedule so you don't have to be at a certain park at a certain time.

We usually exchange numbers and just call to see what everyone's doing for the day, or as it gets closer some will post what their plans are for each day.

Usually after a meal, smaller groups will tend to break off and depending on the likes/dislikes of certain people they will head of it different directions.
(For example, some might want to go to the MK to shop while another group might want to go to MGM to ride Tower of Terror)

Anyone is welcome to join us. We have a chat thread on the CB where you can get to know some of the ladies.

All the lists so far are on the front page and they get updated on a regular basis.
