Blue Goose Trip

I may have a situation--I'm not sure yet. They changed the days of the World Series. If it goes to 7 games (the maximum), the 7th game would be on November 1st. So if the Mets make it to the WS, if there is a 7th game, I will have dinner somewhere, and then head back to my room to watch the game. And no, I don't want to go somewhere & watch--I want to watch by myself. If they win, then I will go out & celebrate--but if they lose--I will want to go to the parks every day & forget about it.

OH you won't have to worry the Tigers are gonna win it all this year! ;)

I haven't even started looking at flights yet.:confused3

But usually I find the cheapest for me around 60-90 days.

You usually go Southwest right? Seems like people have to wait longer for those to come out.

I am not buying yet, just getting an idea on prices and times. So far I'm not liking what I am seeing.

Usually I fly Continental.

I try not to check so early, I usually find really high prices that freak me out!:rotfl:

Oh okay. I guess it's Deena that does Southwest.

I am going to wait until the end of July to buy my ticket. Even though it doesn't look like we are moving, it would be just my luck for me to buy at ticket out of Traverse City, and then we get a call and move to Vegas!!! :lmao: :lmao:

I just wanted to let everyone know that I made another ADR for the night of MNSSHP. The first one filled up quickly so I made another one for 5 minutes earlier.

Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner on Friday @ 5:55 (during MNSSHP):
1. Beth
2. Tammy
3. Kat
4. Missy
5. Bridget
6. Debbie

Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner on Friday @ 5:50 (during MNSSHP):
1. Deena??
2. Wendy
3.
4.

So if you wanted to eat here that night but missed out on the first one let me know asap by PM.

Well, I guess since the move is on hold the good news is, it looks like I will for sure be there the whole trip. :thumbsup2

I think I am going to make an ADR for lunch on Tuesday at Coral Reef and for Monday's dinner, I'm thinking Boma.
Those are the two I had originally, so we'll see.

I will be leaving on Sunday, or else I would love to do Boma and Coral Reef with you. I do have a reservation for Coral Reef for dinner on 10/31. Party of 2. I think 7PM. I am not sure if anyone else will be around on the 31st, so I am guessing I will dine alone and go see Illuminations afterwards.

You could stay longer...:rolleyes1 ;)

I have never been to either place so I'm excited to try them.

I don't know if anyone is coming in early anymore or not. :confused3 I haven't heard much talk about it one way or the other. I know I won't be since it's Halloween and I'm taking the kiddos trick-or-treating. :thumbsup2

I think once these few vacations that every one had planned are over then it will be easier to focus on planning for November.

I booked my air fare!

Got to poking around on the sites again today and saw that I could fly Airtran out of Dayton r/t for $218! So, I booked!

So, my dates are 10/27-11/4. My husband and I will be at Universal 10/27-10/30. My husband flies home in the evening on 10/30 and I head over to Pop! My husband's fare was $208, so I got tickets for us both for about $426. This makes me want to dance since the other day I was looking at $720!

:cool1:  :yay: :woohoo:

I added Coral Reef back onto Tuesday if anyone wants to join me.

I cannot wait to go there. Even if the food is only so-so, I just want to see the cool aquarium. :thumbsup2

Add me to thatADR please Beth, I've never been there either.

Thanks:goodvibes

I would Beth but I am pretty sure I won't be there on Tuesday. I won't have enough holidays to take off 4 days. I think I will be leaving Monday afternoon.

Of course this trip is all tentative at this point. Co-workers at DH's work found out that he had a deal going regarding his pay. The place isn't getting any busier and now DH's contract has been terminated - back to pay per job...

I wish he would have taken that other job back when it was offered to him.

sorry to get off topic...
