Blue Goose Trip

Alright, alright . . . I'm in for Universal/IOA. Ouch - you really had to twist my arm! :thumbsup2 It would probably be fun - a good place without little ones. I would love to try Portofino or Hard Rock. Anway, you'll have to let me know if you are all serious or not! I'm actually leaving for WDW this Sunday morning!:)

I'll go with Kat and scratch Disney and take a cruise.

This way we'll be on sea and won't have the option of going somewhere else for a few days. Unless some of you plan on just swimming in the ocean.:rotfl:

I'll keep my opinions about Universal to myself out of respect to all my friends here that love it.:goodvibes

Well, I was serious but now I am hearing the cost of staying there might be cost prohibitive for some. And I suppose that makes sense.

Sometimes what we want to do and what we can afford to do are not the same. :sad2:

BUT there was talk of going over for the day and if anyone is interested in that, it might be a better option. So we can explore that possibility.

Also I think that taking a break one day and doing some shopping and going out to eat is also being discussed.

Those things will probably not be finalized until it gets closer.

I am definately up for the day of shopping!

I think I will pass on Universal though, sorry ladies.:flower3:

Wow, I just found this thread, still trying to find everything on here. I would love to go on the ladies only trip, I might feel guilty leaving the kids home. :lmao: Is there still anyone looking for a roomie? I know there is another thread for that but there hasn't been much activity lately. You all seem to know each other though, wouldn't want to feel like I was butting in.

Hi and welcome!:cool1: Don't worry the kids will be fine without you! Some of us went last year and all met, so now we are friends. But there are already quite a few new ladies joining us this year.

Our chat thread is on the CB, come join us over there, that way we can get to know you better!

Hey there!!

You're not butting in at all. As for roomies, I think this year since we are staying at POP which is cheaper than CSR, and some of us got discounted rooms on top of that, it seems like everyone is mostly staying solo. At least most of the ones who went last year.

We do know each other from last trip, but we have several "newbies" this year too so my best advice is to just jump in and post on the chat thread. (It's on the CB: The Bag Ladies, lol.) That's really the best way to get to know everyone.

You might even find a roomie that way and you will definitely feel more at ease if you've been chatting with everyone before hand, kwim?

If you have any questions just ask. :thumbsup2

Ladies, we can start making the ADR's for this trip in just 20 days.

No one has any thoughts yet on where they want to eat or when?
Even if we change plans later on isn't it better to make them and then cancel, then try to make it and it be booked already?

Just asking. ;)

I won't know anything about eating until after July. I do want to go to Earl of Sandwich with the group but that's all I have in mind right now. Don't need ADR for that.

:rotfl2: She is the Queen of Shopping. Just follow her and yell "Charge!!" :cool1: :thumbsup2

We always go to the back of the store to the clearence merchandise.:)
Then work our way up to the front.

LOL!!! That's what I do when we're together in WDW (when I'm not pooped from all the shopping.) I'm hopeless when I'm shopping by myself. :sad2:

As for the ADR's I dont really have any places in particular that I want to eat yet. I dont know that I will be ready to make a decision based on that yet. I'm now trying to plan for my summer trip to my mom's.
